This policy explains what information mckafan.com collects, why, and what happens to it. Mcafan is a strategy formulation consultancy based in Lagos, Nigeria. We do not sell products through this website and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Information you give us
The only place this website asks for personal information is the contact form. When you submit it, we receive the name, email address, company or organisation, the category of help you selected, and the message you wrote. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to any conversation that follows from it.
Enquiries are delivered to our own email account at hello@mckafan.com and are retained there for as long as the business relationship or its record remains relevant. A copy of your submission is also stored in this website’s database.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs recording IP addresses, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and troubleshooting.
Spam filtering
Contact form submissions are checked by Akismet, an anti-spam service operated by Automattic. To make that check, the name, email address, IP address, and message content are sent to Akismet for analysis. See the Automattic privacy policy for how they handle that data.
Fonts
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set functional cookies if you log in to the site as an administrator. Ordinary visitors browsing and using the contact form are not tracked across sessions by us.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Information is shared only with the service providers described above, which process it on our behalf, and where we are required to disclose it by law.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@mckafan.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live, the Nigeria Data Protection Act or the GDPR may give you additional rights, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date.
